Если вы хотите, чтобы работали группы пользователей (они же сообщества), то вам так же жизненно необходимо настроить на хостинге систему алиасинга (или как это там называется) таким образом, чтобы все запрашиваемые юзерами адреса приводили на основной домен. Дальше движок сам уже разберётся, что к чему.
